Securing a Burned-Out Lot for Rebuild
The smell of charred earth still hung in the air when we got the call from a developer in The Summit. Their burned-out lot needed immediate perimeter control before debris removal could start, but the terrain was uneven with hidden ash pits. One wrong fence post placement could mean collapse or worse — an open hazard in this upscale neighborhood.
We brought in our tracked skid-steer with auger attachment, drilling through the unstable topsoil to hit solid ground. Used 8' chain-link with wind-rated footings every 6' instead of standard 10' spacing. Had the whole 0.8-acre site wrapped before the asbestos abatement crew arrived the next morning.
Your fence held through three Santa Ana wind events.
